Where is the neutral safety switch?

I just bought a 78' chevy c/10 with a Th350 and need to know where the neutral safety switch is because the truck won't start without jiggling the shifter back and forth in park. Is it on the column as part of the reverse lights or can it be found elsewhere? Does anything else prevent it from starting that is shifter/column related?

Thanks
