rear bumper ?
i just bought a 86 rear bumper at the wreaking yard for 30.00 in great shape but it didnot have the brackets i have a73-79 rear bumper in great shape with brackets will those brackets fit the 86 or am i screwed

i dont know for a fact, but if it is a matter of holes matching up you could redrill of have them cut (welder)...

What type bumpers are they? If both are the same type, i.e., step or regular, yes it will work. In other words, regular bumpers are all the same and so are the step bumpers. But the brackets won't interchange between the two.

My 81' and 85' (both fleetside long boxes) have different bumper mounting hardware, the frame has the same hole's followed by identicall mounting bracket's then each truck has yet another bracket that bolt's to these and the bumper but they are different on each truck.
