suspension ?? for towing
I have a 2 wheel drive '71 C10. I would like to lower the truck a few inches but I want to be able to tow around 6K pounds. It has a 12 bolt rear with heavy duty springs.
Has anyone tried this? Any info is greatly appreciated. thanks, todd |

hey have you looked into rear helper baggs? you just take some leafs out and install them on top. it will be lowered and when you go to tow or carry a load you can air them up to help with the load. I belive air ride has them.

Thanks for the info. I have read about them but wasn't sure if you could tow with them. When I'm ready I'll give them a call.
thanks, |

no problem. I am going to use them to bag my '88 jimmy. I have only seen 1 truck actually running them but he was towing a trailer with a bull just fine and it wasn't sitting on the tires hehe.
