Nice surprise on my 85 today
I fixed the drivers floor and said what the hell I’ll tear into the rocker too . Had some bubbles in the paint . Well after using the heat gun to soften the body shotz that the first owner applied it scraped of easily and I found mostly original paint . Had to do a couple of small patches but that’s it , no big rot like I had expected. Looks like poor prep on the original paint and no surface rust prep . I patched and acid etched the rust it’s in prime now . Pint of paint was 52 bucks
