Rear Shock Extender question
Has anyone used a Rear Shock Extender and mounted it to the top shock stud? I installed 4" drop springs in the rear. The shocks Western Chassis supplied are not long enough. They told me I need to use Shock Extenders. But I've only seen those mounted to the axle (bottom) shock mount, typically for flip kits, which would mean even longer travel. The truck is a '77 C10 short/step. If the Shock Extenders can mount to the top (frame) shock stud, that should do the trick. But is that possible?
