How to get a replacement SPID….
I have a 1980 K20 that does not have a SPID on the glove box. Is there anyway to get one that has all the original info ?
Thanks |

Re: How to get a replacement SPID….
To get the original option content - contact the GM Heritage Center archive. Send your VIN and $50 and they will reply with your original invoice, which includes selling dealership, build dates and pricing.
Link: https://www.gmheritagecenter.com/gm-...tion-kits.html To use that information to create the new label itself contact site member chipflyer. K

I tried the GM Heritage center for my 77 and they could'nt find the info for mine I'm sorry to say. And you don't get a refund either. Hope you have better luck.

Re: How to get a replacement SPID….
Yep, what Keith said. I did the same, got an invoice from the GM Heritage Center. Then had chipflyer make me a new spid sheet for the glove box.
I had him make a few changes on the new spid, like the interior color, since I changed it from Burgundy to Charcoal.
