Ahhh...the female half of humanity. My wife AND daughter both drive my cars down the road with the brake on. Had to tell 'em twenty times each before it finally sunk in. New parking brake pads all around the fleet.

Oh, I have SO MANY stories I could tell you, about these kind of conversations I’ve had with so called “Mechanics/Parts store workers.
I’ve learned to do all the maintenance work on my truck by myself.

Even shops with good mechanics screw up. I had the oil pan replaced on my CTD last fall I had done it once before the pans rot from the inside common problem on them if not used often . I've used this shop before old school mechanics who know older cars and trucks. I couldnt see myself doing it again motor needs to be lifted and the front diff dropped.

Get the truck back and notice the oil change sticker on the windshield . Box for the 10w-30 kendle semi sin oil is checked off . I turn around and go back . Sure enough the young guy who was tasked with filling the oil grabbed the hose and pumped it in. The 3 gallons of Rotella was still on the workbench so new filter and oil .
