Re: very low buck frenched side marker mod
Well heres my shot at it. I painted a small ring around the light on the metal, it seeped through the tape in a few spots so im going to have to clean that up. They almost look worse in the pictures than they really are. All in all, super easy mod with great results, if i can do it so can just about anyone.

But anyhow, I have a quick question, how big of a dent do you have to do to the inner side of the bed for the rear lites to fit? Does it show alot from the inside of the bed (DENT)?

Re: very low buck frenched side marker mod
Hey Texan, paint one in between the lights to match your truck paint, just to see how it would look body color paint. It might make it look really sweet!

Re: very low buck frenched side marker mod
[QUOTE=foosed;3543535]I believe hes talking about the back ones, you have to dent out the inside of the box in order to hook up the light to the back of the lens. Not enough clearance between the lens and the box otherwise.
yes that is what I am asking about, I thought I read on the first page where something had to be done in the back....

Re: very low buck frenched side marker mod
yep, i tried to connect them anyway, and no matter how you move it around you just cant get enough clearance. Im not really sure of a better way other than denting it out.

Re: very low buck frenched side marker mod
I thought about trying to make an outer ring of sorts, out of aluminum or fiberglass/plastic and either paint it body color of leave it natural depending on what I use. Here is a shot with the idea in mind. It would be very similar to one posted already, but hide the attachment all together. I show the studs in the picture just to visualize where they would be.

Re: very low buck frenched side marker mod
I know this is a low buck option, and it looks good, just thought I'd try to drum up some business. I have many sets of the firebird bezels that retrofit the firebird markers to fit our trucks. Here's the link: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=339524
