Glovebox stop arm?
I am building a truck that had the original glove box door removed. The truck is an A/C cab, when i installed a glovebox the stop arm hits the A/C vent, and wont allow full motion of glovebox door. Are the stop arms different from A/C to non? i know the one i installed is from a non A/C truck.

Re: Glovebox stop arm?
No, they are all the same. Is it bent?

Re: Glovebox stop arm?
I'm gonna chime in to say, mine hits too...haven't looked into it too much. I have factory style vents, that I cut into a non AC dash....figured it was something I did...I also have vintage air with the tubing size adapters on the back of the factory style vents...

Re: Glovebox stop arm?
I have done a few of these trucks but this is the first one i have had with A/C.
I have a pile of glovebox doors with arms all from non A/C trucks they all look the same. ( not bent ) I did install the Vintage air kit with the adapters so not sure if that made a difference. the outlet on the a/c vent sweeps to the left, right into the path of the glovebox arm.

Re: Glovebox stop arm?
I have a '67 AC cab with Vintage Air installed. If I remember correctly I nipped off some of the glove box arm. I also remember rotating the vent adapter around so that duct pointed away from the arm tab.
