Removing trim question
Before I created this, I did a search for how to remove the Cab and Lower moulding, without breaking anything, but couldn’t find anything pertinent
As far as the cab moulding goes: Do the little plastic clips slide sideways to unlock from the stud? On the Lower Body Moulding: Is there a way to unlatch the mounting clips without destroying them? Thanks in advance |

Re: Removing trim question
On the cab paint divider trim ,You can use a plastic trim tool to pop the 2 clips on the outside end behind the door and then carefully slide the trim out , When installing that same trim you set the top edge of the trim on the new clips and with a glancing blow with the palm of your hand snapping the trim into place , You can't slide the trim back in place without taking the chance of scratching the paint . , if your saving the trim to reuse after paint consider polishing it while it's still in place .
