Seat frame
I have a nice set of 67 OEM bucket seats and I'm wondering about lowering the frame so I sit lower. I'm sure it's been done. I'm just wondering what I'm in for and if it"s worth it. Any knowledge would be great appreciated!

Re: Seat frame
If you are talking about the buddy buckets, the two seats mounted to a single frame you should consider the value of those seats these days, very expensive to find and replace. If you're truck is the keeper you'll always have no problem, but if you sell someday it might be a factor on selling price.

Re: Seat frame
cut a section out of each outrigger bracket and the same amount out of the brace under the console. Approx 2" is the max before the front frame bar touches the trans hump.
