I have installed Powermaster 10SI units in both my 72 and in an 81 CJ7. Both due to adding fuel injection and wanting more stable voltage. I have had good luck with both. The stock Jeep 37A Delco unit wouldn't even run my heater after putting a bigger heater motor in.

Also, I had to re-clock both of them, which is not hard to do.
