Anyone use neoprene to upholster their seats?

I would like to place original style seats in the blazer I drive. In one of my parts blazers I have original seats, and the back seat is fine but the two front are pretty bad. I bought my blazer to be more of a top off, fun vehicle. Neoprene would fit my needs better.

Besides it would look much better than the mustang seats that are in it now.

Probably would cost you to have them special made, I wonder if the any of the manufactured ones like on ebay would fit good? Worth a look, eh?

They sell neoprene covered seats for jeeps. Bestop makes them. They are fairly affordable. I have never seen them in person, just in catalogs and the web site. They are called TrailMax Aqua Sport - http://bestop.com/trailmax_seats/index.shtml

I bought some neoprene seat covers and found that not all neoprene seat covers are waterproof. You'd better investigate.
