I talked to the guy on the phone, prices are high, but I wasn't standing there with cash, either.

Re: 67-72 truck farm in Knoxville, TN
yeah, i've been trying to get him to quote me a price on some 15x8 rally wheels, he keeps side stepping the question, which probably means i can't afford them

Re: 67-72 truck farm in Knoxville, TN
I have been there, he is a good guy and as I understand it he used to be a member here on the board (?) Not sure what happened ..
Anyway, he knows what he has and he is proud of it. Yes, you can find stuff there but bring your wallet.

Re: 67-72 truck farm in Knoxville, TN
I met this man at Charlotte Auto Fair last fall. I bought a few small pieces from him there but what I needed were several trim pieces he had back on the farm. He sent me several photos and we talked about how to best ship them without damage. We talked maybe 6 or 7 times over a two week period. Bottom line, he might be a little high on some pieces but they are original parts, he is great to talk and deal with and best of all does what he says. priceless....

Re: 67-72 truck farm in Knoxville, TN
It's about an hour from me....I was there a few months ago....he has lots of parts trucks and parts but not what I was looking for.
He doesn't like phone calls (he told me) and the best way to communicate on his terms is to email him tnchev@gmail.com

Re: 67-72 truck farm in Knoxville, TN
Thanks guys,
I sent him a email this morning. Do you guys know if he is a strictly a cash only or will he trade. I have a couple of rifles and revolvers I would trade for a solid truck bed and a front drivers side fender

Is this add about Dean Johnson, in Kodak? If so, he’s a good straightforward guy. He has lots of stuff and will not sell junk. He can be found on FB. |
