Master Cylinder/ Booster size help - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I'm in the mock up stage of my 64 suburban project so I want to order a master cylinder and booster. I see so many different combos of MC and booster sizes.

The Suburban has a POL disc brake conversion on the front and a Ford 8.8 rear with disc brakes. Also an LS1 engine if that has any effect on fit.

Any advice on what size MC and booster?

I'd consider an 8 inch dual diaphragm booster or larger, the disc/disc prop valve along with an '82 corvette style master cylinder.

That's close to what I was thinking. I have an 8" dual booster and 1" bore MC on my '51 pickup. I just wasn't sure since the Suburban is larger/ heavier.
