3/4 ton springs
Does anyone have any experience installing 3/4 ton spring on a 1/2 ton truck to get a little bit of a lift on it? Wondering if I need different shocks and how the ride is. Wanting to put 15x8 with 31x10.5 tires.

Re: 3/4 ton springs
I have 1-ton front springs in a half-ton squarebody, and had to cut a bit more to get it lowered the same, so it "should" sit a bit taller.
Rides fine to me (also have Big 10 leafs in the rear), but ride quality is subjective. I don't think you'd have a significant change in ride height to warrant longer shocks. But you'd know soon enough....

Re: 3/4 ton springs
I’m wanting to put 31 inch tires on and have a little extra room. How does it ride and how much height did you gain?

Re: 3/4 ton springs
Adam1966C10, Im sorry to say I dont know any dimensions. However when I did that 25yrs ago, I had no problems. I also had 31" tires and it rode fine and no clearance issues. All stock suspension and brakes at that time. Have you tried it yet?
