seen this the other day near the beach and thought somebody on here would love to see the pics too.

funny, when I seen it I immediately hit the brakes and turned into the pull out and did a circle around it with my truck while driving. my wife said only one word.
NO! haha i thought of ogre's pics showing his early years with the family in his travel bus. |

There is a bus like this sitting on the side of my neighbors house,about 1/4 mile from me. It has not moved in the 30 years that I have lived here

I don't remember what year the bus was but the Toppenish school distict had a little bus like that in the 60's and 70's that was purchased To pick up familes that lived on sheep ranches 24 miles south of Toppenish on US 97. My sister and I rode it in high school catching it when it came back with the kids from the sheep ranches and some neighbor kids who either went to Jr high or high school or because they lived on the other side of the highway went to town in school rather than going to the country school that my younger brothers and sister did.
I think it also got pressed into service when the Tennis team had meets on Saturdays. That was early 60's as i graduated in 1965.

It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around. |
