Fleetline bed on a one ton??

First, what year did GM start building one tons with a normal bed? Am I correct that all of the one tons with a flatbed had a 133” wheelbase vs the 127” of half and 3/4 tons? Has anyone put a normal bed on one? Seems like a lottt of work but that would look great.
Thanks!

They built a single wheel one ton with a nine foot stepside box it had four stake pockets on each side. They were kind of nifty looking.

Here's a 9 ft stepside bed I saved from a junkyard. I believe the truck used to be a Coca-Cola truck.

I don't remember exactly what year it started, but in one of the years from 67-72, GM started putting an 8.5 ft fleetside bed on the one ton Longhorns. Still had the 133" wheelbase, just not the full 9 foot bed like the stepsides.
