Re: Backup lights

I just had this issue when I replaced mine last week. Make sure you have the metal piece from the column in the switch slot. It was hard for me to get it lined up and put in the tiny bolts at the same time. Then Leave the little tiny bolts snug enough where you can slide the switch in the oblong bracket holes but it stays put when you move the shifter. Then it’s just trial and error to find the sweet spot for the reverse lights on and for the neutral start spot.

The bolts are tiny and hard to find the hole to screw in, all while holding the switch in the tight spot. It’s a test of patience. Helps if you have a med depth socket and a flex head ratchet.
