Where to buy the correct valve stems for Alcoa dually wheels

I had new tires put on my Alcoas back in June at discount tire with new valve stems. These really aren't the right size and if I bump them when I'm washing the truck it they seem to start leaking. I asked discount tire if they carry the correct ones and they don't. I need the metal bolt in style with the angled ones for the rear wheels. Also if I knew the actual hole size I could do some research myself. I don't have that option on my wheels as they're currently on my truck. I don't want to ruin $1,700 worth of tires Even if I do have a road or hazard warranty. I really should have saved the old valve stems and just got new seals but I didn't know this was going to be an issue

Re: Where to buy the correct valve stems for Alcoa dually wheels

I had new BFG ATs put on my old Vectors at Discount and asked them for metal stems. They said they did not carry them???
I will bring my own next time.
Valve stems for autos have been .453" or .625" forever.
When I was a tire buster in the 70s only ford trucks had the big hole.
Many metal stems come with both size gaskets.
I have a set of Alcoas in the garage with stems in them still. I think they were off a GMC front drive motorhome. I will try to get a measurement this weekend.

I can't help with the size but you might check the Milton web site and see if you can come up with anything.

https://miltonindustries.com/collect...re-tire-valves

That's where I had to get my oval valve stems. for my rear dual wheels.

You might try calling them also.

Be sure and report back to the thread if you would, when you find what you need.

Mine are Dill TR543

• Viton grommets offer a greater temperature range, a better seal, and a longer service life.
• Easier installation than other Metric valve designs

Go to a tire shop that does medium truck tires. I believe it's TR545E but I cannot for the life of me remember for sure. You need to be able to get to your rear inners through the hole in your outers.

It looks like those should work for the front. I need to find long rears no for the inner wheels. They offer some for the Dodge Sprinter but they say they are for steel wheels.
