LMC Headliner - any good?
Getting ready to buy a new headliner. LMC has them for $99 plus @20 oversize shipping charge. Others are $179 or $199. Has anyone bought the LMC one?
Any reports on the quality of the LMC headliner? Thanks! John

You must be getting the Black Headliner? Total, it will be around $150

Re: LMC Headliner - any good?
I am surprised no one has bought a headliner from LMC.

Re: LMC Headliner - any good?
I'm looking at getting their chrome headliner trim piece w/ screws. Original has been broken on the back section. I seem to remember them costing a lot more awhile back? Curious about the fit as well...

Did you use any adhesive to hold it up?

Re: LMC Headliner - any good?
Couple rows of 3m double sided tape to hold it so I could get the trim on

Re: LMC Headliner - any good?
Doug,
I purchased a LMC headliner and it has a luan plywood backing to it. Did your headliner have the same backing and was the trim (with the "rigid" luan backing) enough to hold it in place? I understand the double sided tape to assist but is the headliner rigid enough to not require 3M adhesive spray and the trim holds it firm? Thanks Bill Last edited by douce48; 12-26-2023 at 02:40 PM. |

Re: LMC Headliner - any good?
I have bought their headliner trim for my '72, and it looks and fit good. Their upholstery/interior parts are usually sourced from PUI.

Re: LMC Headliner - any good?
I just put up this headliner and trim from NPD - not sure where they get them from.
Used the 1.5" wide industrial velcro to hold it up. Very happy with the results.

Re: LMC Headliner - any good?
Not sure what the difference is between the LMC $104.75 headliner, and the Brother’s Truck $339.99 headliner...neither have the trim, you gotta buy it separately...LMC’s trim is $100, and Brothers is anywhere from $100 to $150?
I order the one from LMC with their trim.

Re: LMC Headliner - any good?
Bill,
Same headliner and the 3m tape has held up good just make sure you clean up the surface before using the tape Quote:
