Will an original track bar work with a 4" drop. I'm having a lot of trouble bolting it back together and wasn't sure if it was the new bushings, the lack of weight on the frame, the drop, or a combination of all of the above.

i've got a 4"
drop and just used the adjustable bar worked fine for the past 4years i don't think the relocation of the bar is needed but the relocation of the rear shocks is good to do

Mine 68 is lowered 6 in the back and this past winter my dad and I c-notched the frame, relocated the panhard bar and got an adjustable one and relocated the shocks. Lastly added kyb nitrogen shocks all the way around and let me tell you it rides awesome now. Probably the best thing I've done to it. Much nicer to cruise around in now.
Hope all this helps some. |

Brother's and Early Classic have them, probably GMC Paul's, Rick's or any vendors on this board can get them if they don't already have them.
