Hub coversion kit or not?
I ordered some warn premium huds yesterday for my 84 K10. When I picked them up today I noticed that they had also included the optional ($50) conversion kit. I thought that this kit only applied to the factory automatic hubs with 3 bolts in the cover, my factory hub has 6 bolts on the cover. Do I need this additional conversion kit?

By conversion kit,do you mean a ring gear about 3" in diameter?
If so, that is for an NP203 transfer case (Full time 4 wheel drive) Yours (with automatic hubs) should be an NP208......no kit needed They all bolt into the truck's hub the same way. |

By conversion kit I mean Warn Part # 32720
I did the hub install today and I did not need the kit. The kit had two bearing retainer nuts and the locking washer that sets between them. Once I took apart my factory hubs I found the same nuts and washers already in use, so I just used the old ones and I will be return the kit. $50 refund whoo hoo!! |
