Fs: '70 Cst 10 Lwb (dfw)
The Nugget is back on the auction block. I've found another driver/project that I want and the truck has to go. There is not a lick of cancer in the truck, the rockers, cab corners, etc... are in excelent condition. The pass. rear fender is buckled, but can be straightened with ease. The entire suspension has been rebuilt, rebuilt TH-350, rebuilt top end of the 350. This is a factory A/C truck which has been converted to 134. Power brakes and power steering. I recently installed a set of buckets with center seat/console from a '00 Chevy truck. The dash is cut for a CD player (player does not stay with the truck). I installed a factory slider which was also tinted at the same time and does not leak. I will throw in the solid rear glass if the buyer wishes. I drive this on a daily basis and would drive it anywhere. I put an average of 200+ miles a day on this thing. It has all new belts, hoses, wires, plugs, battery cables, etc... I've made a handfull of trips to Missouri both empty and with a load and would go again tomorrow if need be. Without a load, I average 16-17 mpg on the highway with a mixture of city/hwy of 15 mpg. With a little more tuning, I'm sure 18-20 mpg could be a reality. Once the rain subsides for more than a day, I will clean it up and get some more recent pics. I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have. She is priced at $3950 obo.
Thanks, Ryan

I'll be taking some more pics this weekend and get them up.
When I did the top end I rebuilt the heads, new SS valves, seats, seals and had the bowls cleaned up to unshroud the valves. New timing chain, cam, lifters, intake and carb. The intake is a polished performer clone with an Edelbrock 600. I also replaced all the internals of the distributor. The cylinder walls still had a good cross hatch, so I didn't go any further into it. I use the truck to pull my bass boat and I wouldn't be affraid to pull a car trailer with it.

Our club's Driveway Session took alot longer than expected, so I wasn't able to get new pics taken today. I should be able to get it taken care of tomorrow afternoon and have them posted by night fall on Monday though.

I finally have new and updated pics available. I'll post a couple here, but you can go to my PT page and see the rest. http://www.picturetrail.com/gallery/...430&uid=624330
Sorry it took so long, but our internet and phone was out for almost a week and then my wife had surgery, so I've been a little pre-occupied.

Yes, it's factory. It's listed on the option sheet as Dark Gold body with Light Gold cab.

The tires are near new with probably 40K miles life left. New ignition switch, wires, solenoid, plugs and plug wires. She runs like a top and drives like a dream. Right after I bought it, I installed a front sway bar for much better handling. I have a few misc. parts to throw in for future use, I even still have the original jack and rods.

Beautiful truck! Wish I had the money to take it off your hands! Why are you selling it?

I need to get rid of the truck so I can pick up another project/driver. There is an '84 Z28 waiting in the wings for when the truck goes to a new home. Tell me a bit about that '66 Wagon. I really like those Chevy II's and am enjoying the heck out of my '63 SS.

My nova wagon needs a full restoration. It runs and drives and is currently my daily driver, but it needs the floorpans replaced, interior needs to be completely redone, needs minor body work and paint. Its not nearly as nice as your truck.

For anyone going to the Arlington swap meet this weekend, I'll have the truck there for you to inspect in person. I'll be there willing to answer any questions you may have. I'll get our space information out and get it posted asap.

The truck can be seen at the swap meet at the Ballpark this weekend. We will be located in lot B, Row 10 spaces 317-323. We back up to Nolan Ryan. There's been alot of interest lately, so I'm fairly certain it will go this weekend. (knock on wood) If you don't come to look at the truck, just come by to say hi and have a brew.

Thanks Justin!
Well, either I have it priced to high, or no one wants a no rust driver/cruiser that will last them for years to come. It's funny, I bet that if I yanked the engine/tranny, beat the hell out of the body, filled it full of rust and priced it at $2500, it would probably sell. From what I gathered this weekend, not many people at the swaps are looking for a reliable driver, go figure.....
