Refresh my memory here
I'm wanting to use the newer style alternator on my 71 GMC,the one that doesn't use a regulator.But I don't remember how to wire it up.
The big red wire on the post with the nut goes directly to the battery The red wire in the molex clip goes to the switch, and the black wire to a ground. Is that right? Also I heard that I can just hook the red wire in the clip in to the red wire on the post and it will work also,is that true? TIA
