Updated pics of my 85 during painting process

I got the cab of my truck back today with some new black paint that has just been color sanded and buffed. Notice the pic of me behind the camera. That is actually me taking a close range picture of the hood of my truck. The paint is that shiny. I should have the new grey interior in it by the end of the week and the bed should be done in a couple of weeks. I will post pics of the completed truck when it is completed. It won't be long now.

Me likey your truck. Can you tell me the paint code and type! I want to paint mine a nice black like that. Mine's a factory black/grey two tone, but not sure I'm going to do the grey. Are you going to put the beltline chrome trim around the truck? Where did you get the seat cover? Thanks, David

I don't know the paint code, but its just basic Dupont black urethane. If you really want it, I can get you the paint code. I got the seat cover from LMC. It turned out pretty good, but I wasn't overly impressed with the quality. The seat covers were really a little to big and I had to get a little creative to make them fit as tight as they did.

Yes, I am going to put the molding on the sides of the truck. I also have a good used tailgate band on the way and I have the Silverado emblems to go on the front fenders.

If you don't mind my asking, where did you get your used tailgate band and what kinda price range? I'm gonna be in the market for one soon and was wondering where to start. Salvage Yard?

I got the tailgate band from a person on this site for $20. It looked pretty good in the pictures, but I have yet to see it in person. I do expect to have to do alot of cleanup work on it to make it presentable.
