Door speakers....
For those that have mounted speakers in the doors, how did you run your wires? Pics would help too

I ran the wires through the door jams using grommets on the cab and door and running black air line throught the grommets, looks pretty good

Sorry no pics, but I used the same thing newer cars have... just the rubbe grommet. Drilled 2 holes and stuck it in. I almost bought the 2 peices that connect together when the door is closed but I always find myself listening to music with the doors open.

What about after the door jam? how did you get them inside the cab. looks like it is all closed off. And did you have to remove ur doors to drill the door? I cant seem to get a bit in there and get it all lined up.

I drilled the hole in the door at an angle. My kickpanels were starting to rust just a bit on one side, so I ran the wires through the bottom of the kickpanel there. The other side I drilled a hole at the very top where it wasnt visable and ran the wires through the column and down by the floor vent, under the carpet and to my amp under the seat. Its a straight shot if you are just gonna use your speaker outputs on the head unit.

the hole was a pita but i had to use a center punch to get enough of a spot to get the drill to stay on that spot then drill it

I saw a truck with probably 6.5"s in the original door panel, that way you don't have to cut the doors. Then wiring would be simple...
