Lenny - The Blazer is super clean. I actually saw it once on ebay about 2 years ago and it sold. Then about 4 months later there it was again, and even though it almost cost me my marriage I had to jump on it. Super clean restoration - firewall, bolt holes, and gas filler all shaved, leather seats originally from a tahoe, but modified to look more original, clean wiring, lots of chrome under the hood, etc etc. Only things not there were more grunt from the 350, no back seat, and no top. The carpet color is shot too, in good shape but real faded - originally gray, but looks more like light brown now.
As far as the black grill, I like it except for the black headlight bezels, I'm going to change those for chrome. I think it would follow the lines up from the bumper nicely. If anyone out there has some they want to sell drop me a line. I want to find a good single wall top to put on it, especially since all the bolt holes have been shaved. I like the clean look it has topless, so I'm planning to rig a set up with those latches and small c-clamps most jeeps and truck caps use. Can't really do that with a double wall, plus the single wall tops seem like the better option of the two (interior lights, weight). I'm willing to wait to find one, and I'm willing to pay a fair price, especially if it is in good shape. And LUV, I have a few more pics on my webpage: http://members.cox.net/lowriding/ I'm looking for the size of the wheel, tire and backspacing will get me that look, and I'm going to put the 15s in the original pic on my daily driver. And Purple, I actually thought about the whip antennas, but only in combo with the daisy paint job on that famous green blazer... How's this for an acid flaskback? |
