2.5/4 drop?
Whats the best way to do this I Want some thing good and last a long time ! And I am using a 68 short frame with a 71 suspension and rear coils 5 lugs? spindles? springs? bags? What should I get? I dont want over kill jsut a good happy medium!

2.5/4 is a very good drop IMO you still have some rake though if thats what you want, to get 2.5/4 you use front drop spindles (230 from GMCpauls) and rear drop springs 115 from gmcpauls

Is there another alternative to level out the rear like a 41/2 or something to match the 2.5?

With the drop spindles do ytou use regular front springs?

If you want to use the the original springs go ahead, but if your springs are really old it might be a good idea to but in new springs in and there only about $115. Not a bad upgrade.

If you get the panhard kit from early classic (the one that goes from the trailing arm to the frame) it adds about 1/4 inch due to the spacer, i also did a 9" in it also and that added 1/4 inch or so from the axle tubes being larger, it got rid of the slight rake. 255/60/15 front, 275/60/15 back. 2.5 spindle, 4" spring
i think a 5" spring might be too much |
