What to look at?
I'm going to look at a 69 4X4 Blazer this weekend. I was wondering what kind of things I should look at that has trouble in these Blazers. Spots that rust out, suspension problems, top troubles, etc. Thanks in advance.

Check the top for splitting too. If it is a double wall top, they tend to split.
'69 may have either the Dana 20 or NP205 t-case, depending on the transmission. Both are good t-cases, but the NP205 is stronger. Check the ball joints, tie rod ends, etc. It should have drum brakes upfront, but they are often swapped out with '71 or '72 disc front axles. Check the frame around the steering box, especially if it has bigger tires on it.
