Re: is there such thing as a water tight blazer?
I bought my blazer from the son of the origianal owner. His dad took the top off a day after it was bought new,and never put it back on.No idea were the top is,and I don't care if I ever get one.I have had it for 6 years now.

I forgot to mention this rig is my daily driver.
Can you take a poll on this forum? I'd like to know what the ratio is for daily driver to joy driver.

Re: is there such thing as a water tight blazer?
resurrecting a pretty old thread here but i just came out to my interior soaking wet after some recent rains this weekend. i'm in so cal so it's definitely not some deluge raining here but enough to take on some unwanted water. and yep, just removed/reinstalled my top last weekend so i suppose this makes a big difference. does that mean the longer i leave it on, the better it seals?

The top on my dad's 72 does not leak, but the top has never been off.

I Love My Blazer. I Put Every Seal New When I Restored It & It Still Leaked. But When I Built It I Knew It Would Not Be Driven In The Rain. I Too Will Put Up With The Leaks For All The Enjoyment & Satisfaction I Get From It!

No reason for it, a simple inspection along with a quick cleaning would cure it. It's called maintenance. |

The rusty spot is one of the weep holes, there is one on the other end.
