Re: Ever seen a '67 '88-'98?

Sorry fellas.

I was *supposed* to have yesterday OFF, but had to get some permits out and did not leave Greenville until 11:30. Got to Charlotte @ about 1:30 and had to rush around to get all of the stuff I wanted, I even missed the ENTIRE car show

Stupid weather people. Today is friggin' beautiful

Anyway, he offered me a flyer, but I don't own an 88-98, so I turned it down. I had NO idea everyone would be so interested! So no idea on price, etc.

Maybe some of our other Charlotte area members could get some more info if they go today/tomorrow?

I think it would be perfect if the bumper was straight across! I really like it.

Re: Ever seen a '67 '88-'98?

I usually don’t like this kind of thing but I have to admit it looks pretty good. What is most impressive to me is that the “pointedness” of the 67 matches fairly well with the 88-98. Or did he modify the grill to have more of a “V”? I can’t tell???

Re: Ever seen a '67 '88-'98?

Wow. That looks pretty good. I agree about the bumper... It looks a little "off" the way it points up at the ends. Maybe a 67-72 bumper would look better but nice job nonetheless.

Re: Ever seen a '67 '88-'98?

I like it a lot better than the Advanced Design style or the '64-66 style that has been on the market for the 88-98 bodies. Looks like something that some crafty aftermarketer could create to replace the stock grille of an '88-98 body. If done correctly, it would snap/screw into place just like the stock grille ass'y, and then accept the grille trim and headlight ass'y. I predict it would sell well for those who want their C/K to look different. I'd buy one of them.

Gee Tx. Its' your truck and all but I think it already does stand out with the color and use of Cragar SS wheels. Both are unusual on the 88-98 trucks. The mild drop is right too.

Well, it's definetly better looking than the 47-53 grill conversions.

Tried, it's too blurry. I have a 7mp camera, but toned it down to 3mp because I took a bunch of sitework pics the week before and forgot to put it back on 7mp, then resized the pic for board use = blurry when zoomed into
