It's really easy. The wiring for the headlamps are almost the same.

I already changed out the core support for the double light setup i was asking about puting the single newer headlight in.

here is mine, I did a phantom so I had to recess mine, so it was a little more work.I ordered smoked lights off ebay for the newer style truck.
