Re: sad pictures

regarding that blue and white one in the first pic.......it could be there for a few different reasons:
-what was it's condition before it was scrapped? could have been a total write off
- perhaps the owner was greedy and wanted too much and it rotted away
-perhaps the owner only wanted a couple of hundred bucks but some some vulture was only willing to pay $25 and is now crying about seeing it crushed.
I'm sure there are tons of reasons why it could be there and it is sad to see regardless. Unfortunately most of us don't have the room or the ability to travel 1000 miles for a $200 truck.... I would if I could....and I know of a few members here that and passed them along for next to nothing....you guys know who you are and hats off to ya!!!

Re: sad pictures

I hate to see old trucks crushed but in reality it just makes our trucks more valuable. I would hate to be the guy that got his just fixed up truck wacked. I bet it was some soccer mom yacking on her phone.

Re: sad pictures

yeah, he is over on the hamb from pa. his handle is wreckedwrecker
he mentioned that he is going to rebuild....
I would be curious to see if the dash and cowl are bent. It looks like the hit sheared off the rad support bolts, and shoved the cowl back into the driver door.
I would say a new front clip, and cab are in order...
