Re: Got my 70 SWB 4x4
I'm with you,high-end bells & whistle every geegaw & doodad from the factory were my obsession for a long time, but I've grow to appreciate these trucks any way they came, especially as long lasting survivors. Fully loaded has been the norm for many years now. These trucks are neat to see how a feller could get what he wanted and forget the rest.
That's a hella nice example of a SWB K/10 and would look just as righteous sitting next to a Cheyenne Super.

Just remember, the next time someone tells you to jump in a lake (pond),don't do it with this truck

Inside I'm crying over you getting that truck and not me. If I got that truck I'd... I had a base SWB at one time that I restored. Had to sell it when a builder went belly-up owing me a healthy chunk of change. Had to sell both of my perfect pair/holy grail trucks. Mine was a 292/4spd with a unique combo of options any real truck guy would dig. I'm gonna go cry some more now. (Man I feel sorry for myself )
