Re: New 66 4x4.
What size were the old tires that came on it? Just curious.

Re: New 66 4x4.
BTW got this Virginia inspected today. Needs ball joints pretty bad. Anyone verify if these are 66 hubs? With the mismatch of parts on this undercarriage I am wondering if they may be of a 70s blazer.

Re: New 66 4x4.
I took off 36x14.5x15 mated with 15x12s and added 33x12.5x15 with 15x10s.

Re: New 66 4x4.
Looks like an early to mid 70s 1/2 ton truck/blazer axle. A 66 dana 44 would have had a closed knuckle design.

Hey kjolivier, welcome to the forum and congrats on a nice truck. I'm out here just north of Winchester.

Re: New 66 4x4.
The Dana 44 with the open knuckle and disc brakes started in 1970 I believe. The Dana 44 was used up thru '79.

Re: New 66 4x4.
Talked to the previous owner tonight. He thinks everything is from a 77 K5 Blazer, but I also question almost everything he says. It makes sense for the NP203 though.
