Re: Scored an engine for my Camaro

It cleaned up nice, I put a 6.0 in 90 iroc. It is one bad street car. I would lots rather be working on my 67 c10 though. The camaro got to tight to work on and drive. You will enjoy that ls power.

Re: Scored an engine for my Camaro

Wow , 444 ft lb torque before 3000rpm . Some of that is a little spike at throttle stab but is still holding on pretty good even at 4000rpm . That is impressive and will get it moving nicely . Still holding on pretty good up top also . That low end torque will out perform a bigger cam/HP car of the same caliber any day at the track . Big cams will give you that upper hp number and pull at the far end but its hard to catch up 2 car lengths .

Good job .

Re: Scored an engine for my Camaro

That's a low dyno for a 6.2 with a cam, at least from what I've seen.

The tuner told me that the chassis dyno he used is very stingy, That if I want a dyno queen.....Strap it on a Dyno-Jet.

I took a cheap Escalade engine that's rated at 405hp at the crank & made that at the rear wheels with a mild cam, I'm happy with the results.

Those are good numbers to the wheels and there might be more there, but seems like a good safe tune for an everyday driver. Nice job CB, .
