question about my new truck
I just bought a 82 short bed 2wd chevy. It has been lowered 3/5 has a 350, th350. Anyways how can i tell if the front has 3" spindles or 2" spindles and a 1" spring? Just curious.

I have only seen 2.5" and 3" spindles, so I would guess it has 3" spindles. My 2.5" Western chassis (they don't make a 3" AFAIK) say "Western Chassis" on them on the inside vertical surface.
That should help you narrow it down, unless the previous owner used 3" springs, or heated or cut the springs. If the drop is all from springs, though, you will have little or no suspension travel. Slonaker |

Actually the truck might be lowered 4/6 cuz it's pretty low. I'll just have to get some pics.
