fender carving

hi everybody !

does anybody know how much i would have to cut away to run bfg 35x12.50 tiers with only a two inch lift??
i was at a friends house the other day and he has a set laying around . i wanted to see what they looked like on my suburban so i jacked it up from the axle and put it in place ( i have 6 bolt hubs and the rims were 8 hole )( i have a rough country 2" lift on ) they looked real mean! i realy want to run a set but dont know how much to hack off and will i have to run a set of spacers for frame clearance?
thanks for any help! lief@baysat.net brian770

trial and error, get a set and bolt them on, then hack away as needed, are you going to hardcore wheel it or just be street and dirt road? if you wheel it hard you will have to cut more than if you just drive it on the street. when you do it, make sure you round the edges or put something on there to make them smooth, if not you could easily cut a tire.

thanks!
i will be doing no hard wheeling with it, just a mud hole or two. and maybe a small hill or logging road around hunting season. this is my daily driver and its more that i think it looks great to me than anything else. i dont expect to ever bottom out the axle.
