Bob, sweet find. That sucker is clean.
I do have a Q about your grill though... in this pic; It looks as if there are two black lines on the horizontal bar...is that a pinstrip stuck on, or embossed in the grill's metal...what gives? Never seen anything like that before. |

Hello to all. Bob Kelly here. Thanks to is it Warlord?? for posting my pics. The AM radio is out--being repaired. The compressor is out--getting a new clutch. Funky picture of bed that doesn't appear to have used. I wonder about the 396 engine with one chrome valve cover. Was that factory? Has a sticker on the chrome cover that says something like "Built with pride by the Tonawanda Team". Again, if the 8 ft. 8 inch camper shell doesn't sell on E-bay by Sunday night it will be free to anyone who can pick it up in one week.
Blue skies and green lights, Bob Kelly--Where the heck is Lompoc, CA. I'll give you a hint--we have one gated community in the whole town-------the prison. |

Whoops, forgot to answer the grill question. Went out there with a flashlight and found that the old gent had glued some molding to the grill cross bar (also some white tape on the top horizontal bar). Have filled a large trash can with little additions that were glued and screwed everywhere--it was his truck and he probably had fun adding all his toys. Don't know of anything that will take the carpet glue off the inside of the bed without taking the paint also. Probably just have bed liner sprayed in after covering the floor.
Bob Kelly I could never remember names until I took that Bill Carnegie Course. |

Nice Truck..One good thing about living in CA. is theres no salty roads and no snow unless you head to the mountains. My sister lives in Bakersfield.

Nice truck! What trim level is it. Looks like a CST if it was a Chevy. I'm still trying to get some of the GMC names straight. It's funny how you'll see a GMC Sierra Grande and it will actually say Cheyenne Super Trim on the plate in the golvebox.

It's just a Custom model but the original owner went nuts with stick on trim. Oh well, he had fun putting it on and I'll keep occupied taking it off.
