Yet another "How much is it worth" thread
I usually frequent the 73-87 board, but a buddy asked me about the truck in his backyard last night. It is a '55 series 1 5 window. The truck looks to be complete, but the bed is off right now. Original paint, even has the original cardboard headliner. He said it ran when it was parked about 5 years ago, and the engine is not stuck. Truck was light blue with a white top, chrome front bumper, painted grille, blue wheels with white hubcaps. There was no rust through, but the paint had a good bit of surface rust on it. I am sorry I don't have any pics, but the truck did have a lot of potential. We were just trying to figure out what it was worth, as he figured he would never get around to doing anything with it.
Also if anyone might be interested, send me a PM and I will forward some contact info. I will also try to get some pics. Thanks in advance!

Being from Texas,I,d guess it would be worth a couple of grand. It would be better if he could get it running.I assume he has the bed still for it.

I would never pay that much for a project that's not running...especially disassembled. $800 is more in line. But that's just me .

Dissassembled in the fact that the bed needed to be bolted back on. I am still trying to get some pics.

You guys need to remember that Texas trucks have very little rust. When he says "surface" rust that is what it means. I bet it would bring 1500-1800 at the next Arlington swap meet...

Is this truck still available? Did you ever get any pictures to post? Thanks!
