Anyone have a FuelCellGuy tank?

Hi all

I am about ready to get a tank from FuelCellGuy. Just wanted to hear from any of you that have gotten a tank from him. Wondering how long you have had it, how install was for you, and how happy you are with it. Feel free to respond here, PM me, or email me at shawnstorhaug@hotmail.com.

Thanks!

Shawn

from what i've heard on the board from people who have bought his tanks...they are very pleased, i haven't seen one negative remark towards him or his work...seems like a real stand up guy. The few conversations i've had with him made him seem like he doesn't bs or try and sell his product, he lets his work advertise for him....i don't have one, but when i get one it will be from him

One more...

BTW, this is the 7" deep version of the tank. It doesn't stick down very low at all. Later, FCG

Fuelcellguys tanks

are very nice tanks. I just put one in my truck a couple months ago. Nothing better than having one built to your specs.

Fuelcellguy, just noticed your from Mineola Tx. Used to live near Mineola, lived off Lake Holbrook. Went to school in Mineola from 2nd grade to 4th. Then went to Alba-Golden from 5th to 10th. Haven't seen too many people on the board from them parts. When I get back from overseas, I might have to look you up, need a fuel cell for the stepside. Take it easy Jay

I remember several posts in the past by members stating they are putting fuel cells in their trucks. From the picture above , it looks like an aluminum fuel tank. Is this what they were referring to? I thought a fuel cell is used to generate electricity.

yep, the fuel cell is a replacement for the in cab tank. Most people are putting a new tank under the rear of the bed, it sits between the frame where the spare tire carrier used to be.

I got one and it kicks A$$. Easy installation and it looks awesome. It came complete with mounting straps and the AN fitting welded on. It looks way better than a Blazer tank or one of those plastic tanks.......Buy it!!!!! You won't be dissapointed!

Here's the tank FuelCellGuy built for me for those who haven't seen it. Hope to get the truck back from the body shop before too long so I can finally fill up the tank and see how much it holds.
