got my truck painted finally--pics-->

here are a few crappy pics of the truck..im going to snap some good ones tomorrow, hopefully with the ralleys on and out in the sunshine, over all im pretty happy but i shouldve paid more attention when he painted it, im not happy with the front bulkhead in the box...i know the metal is only so thick but there is lots of little dings...i plan on putting checkerplate in the bed maybe ill put it up on the front too (on the inside) if that makes sense..also when they did the clear coat it looks like some dust got in it on the dash, im sure the pad will cover it all but i hope it can be buffed out..over all though the outside apperance of the truck is great

i still need to order carpet, new dash pad, dye the seat, install my stereo, put the ralleys on, take the rear fenders off and put that rubber stuff inbetween, put bumpers on, all the rubbers around the doors and do the glass, there is a fair amount of work still, hopefully by may long weekend she will be road worthy to cruise in....

That doesn't look like any Blazer tank installation I've seen. You sure it's not a Suburban tank? My Blazer tank sure don't hang that low.

Nice truck I have a few questions about your fuel tank is it a blazer or suburban tank? Where is your filler neck on it? And how many gallons? Thanks

its 19 gallons i believe..or 21 i cant remember, i ordered it from www.scottssupertrucks.com he is one of the closer vendors to where i live...i is a blazer tank as far as i know...lol its what i asked for. it seems low thats for darn sure..but it cant go any higher or it would hit the bottom of the box...once i get my rear bumper mounted im sure it will hide it some...the filler neck is going to mate up to one of those marine fillers, and will sit flush in the bed floor..ill get a ton of pics tomorrow...btw thanks for the compliments guys, icant wait to get those ralleys on..i hate these rims

hey slammed66!!! you work at scotts? im going to be ordering a bunch of parts this week from you guys...i need carpet, dash pad, rubber for the doors etc..

i got a bunch more pics today, over all im really dissapointed with the paint job, the apperance is good but inside the box looks like ass, i think that the body guy/painter hit his quote and rushed what was left, so he didnt lose money on the job. we used 60-66 boxsides and i welded up the old holes and we drilled new holes for these style fenders, he didnt even put any filler over the welds and clean them up, on both sides of the box you can see the weld its brutal...the whole front clip and cab and rear fenders are immaculate but the boxsides and bulkhead are god awful...my dad is going into the shop tomorrow to talk turkey with the guy, fortunately we only have given him half the money for the paint job and we dont plan on giving him the other half until everything is fixed...so that means at least a week set back, im pretty pissed off cause i was hoping to have it on the road in the next couple weeks..anyways enough whining here are a couple more pics...
