Unhappy Help Control Arms

I need to know is, if newer control arms and shafts can be used on my 1972. My control arms are in such bad shape someone has already welded in the bushing hole because of the wear.

Is it possiable to use the arms and shafts with press type rubber bushings off of a newer truck as a direct bolt in? If so what years of trucks will work? I have my dropped springs and spindles on the way, and as the season is far to short up here in Canada, I would like to get my truck on the roads ASAP.

Thanks
