Any pictures of fullsize blazers on 20's

I have a 78 fullsize blazer and want to see what some other ones look like with 20's or 22's.

Re: Any pictures of fullsize blazers on 20's

Just some stuff: the airride (comp, tank, valves) is complete. I mounted all that stuff under the hood! Space is getting tight under there.....Just after i put together a nice little shelf and shortened all the airride harnesses they cam out with the neat little package all put together. My train horns are trying to find a place, maybe behind the new grill. I will try to get some pics of the new grille and headlight buckets up soon. With the truck gods supporting me hopefully going in for paint at months end. Yours is better than ever. I'm so jeoulous of the new interior. With your new seats up front how did you get rid of the seatbelt holes in the pillars??? Agian love the new colors (also loved the tweed from before)!!! A quick pic of what it is going to look like.....

TV, after looking at some of your pics, what is your top lined with? It almost looks like the same material your side panels are made with....jesse

Re: Any pictures of fullsize blazers on 20's

tv- I was talking about the old pics, and wondered what you used to line the inside of the top with? I looks like either headliner material or the stuff your grey side panels were made of. I will get some new pics tomorrow, it is supposed to be 70 and sunny here. By the way, I will be getting all new rubber for my top, do you get any rub marks where the top bolts to the "bed rails"?? I have been checking into the clear 3m paint protection film, maybe a strip on the top of the "rails". Thanks for any input.....jesse

Re: Any pictures of fullsize blazers on 20's

Jesse,

I used a spray can back in the day that was called splater paint. It came out good, but 12 years later it is starting to come off. I think Lowes my have it.

And yes, the 3M is the way to go for the top. I have some just for that, but have not used it yet. Back when I road sport bikes I would used clear 3m for the under tail and tank. Works very good.

Thanks,
Trav

Re: Any pictures of fullsize blazers on 20's

TV- Thanks, I have been thinking about using some very good interior spray glue and some 1/8 inch headliner material to line the underside of the top. I just don't like the looks of it stock and hoping to get a little more sound deadening...but in AZ top schmop too nice to have the top on (except when its 118 outside, then I don't leave the house).....jesse

There's nothing wrong with digging up an old thread.

tvblazer78 was asking where the pictures were in my posts. bigblock73 was pointing out that the post was 4 years old and something must have transpired that stripped the pictures.

Guys, I don't know what happened. It seems that from time to time old threads show up with no attachments. I would fix it if I could, but once they go "poof" they are gone.
