Talking GREEN

Thanks for the prop's guy's.
WOW, was the same thing I said when I walked into the paint booth and saw the shiny/bright green color. After seeing it with crappy paint and then primer for so long it was a real surprise.
Med. olive green is the factory color for this truck and believe it or not all the sheet metal is original too.
The body work we did was: Replace both inner and outer rockers, both lower door pillars, lower kick panel and a small section of floor on the pass. side. On the driver's side we were able to use the original inner rocker but needed to replace the outer as well as most of the front door pillar. Dash had to be repaired also due to the ever popular CD install.
With some help from friends/family and a patient/understanding wife, this project has been possible...we should be driving it by summer.
Thanks 71Blazer for posting the pics.

Man that is Sweet!!! Looks new!!!! What a great color.......what color are you going to use for the top? What about the inside of the top? And interior trim?

Those floor pans look absolutely mint!

Nice Job............

Blazer Progress

72c5, thanks.
I have two tops to choose from, one white and one black...it originally had a white top so most likely will use the white one.
I'll be leaving the inside of the top white also.
I have a very complete factory interior for it, all original, even have the rear bed panels. ...the interior color will be black.
You asked if I stripped the floors down to bare metal?
Yep, the floors and everything else too I blasted and sanded the whole truck...everything to bare metal...I mean everything, inside and out.
