Lightbulb Question for the masses here.

I have a question, wondering if other people have had the same problem. It happens all the time. Siting in the truck with the door closed and locked. It will not unlock unless you press the outside door button in and all is fine then it will unlock. Also happens when getting in the truck with it locked sometimes you have to push the door button the it will let the key unlock it. Both doors do it on mine.

Why does it do this? How would I go about fixing it? Its not a huge problem but its one of the little corks of my truck.

I would take of the inside door panel and squirt the linkages with some silicon oil.

It happens to me when I try to open the door from the inside when it is locked. Then I have to roll the window down and press the outside button, like you say, and it is alright. Something my be getting hung up but I have yet to try and figure it out.

happens on my passenger side door every once in a while. Get in, lean over to unlock, wont do it. Have to get passenger to push the button once then its all gravy.
