rear window crank
My 77 has a new rear window crank, but the PO said the pin fell out & he can't find it. Looks like I can just cut down a nail to fix it. Has anyone had to do this? Any better recommendations for a fix?

I see brand new NOS ones on E-bay from time to time, they usually go for $50 or so.
I would think the nail trick would work, but it is kind of ghetto. The manual rear windows can be tricky period, took me a few minutes to figure out how they work. (rolling up and down and locking it)
