Brake pedal rod to brake booster ?

Does the eyehole piece go on the (on the floorboard looking up) left side of the brake pedal or the right?

Thanks

Smile

If you are sitting in the driver's seat looking froward, it will be on your left side of the brake pedal bracket.

Gotcha or if you are under it it will be on the right side. All depends on where you are
Thanks

Well I tried to install the rod tonight. Are you sure that the bolt goes on the left hand side( if sitting in driver seat looking forward)? Reason I ask is well unless its normal to remove the steering column to do this then its almost impossible to put the rod and bolt on that side. I must be missing something here. Any pics?

If you loosen the booster to firewall mounting nuts you can gain enough clearance to get the bolt in. I suspect this was designed so that the bolt could not come out accidently!

This is what it looks like.

yes...PAIN IN THE $%^&^&^ Oh my GOD it was horrible! That pic is the exact location as stock... just a pain to do it and a lot of hits in the head as the bolt falls a couple of dozen times!

Yes it is. I got clocked by that bolt about 3 times before I finally got smart and loosened the column to get it on there.
