question on wheel size
When I got my 73 C20 a couple of weeks ago, it had 31x10.5x15 rims and tires with the Tonka toy look, no backspacing.
My question is will the late model OEM 8 lugs fit Ok as long as they are the 6.5 bolt pattern? These are the polished alloy ones that have the "D" holes in them. I know they are only 6.5 wide but it looks like I could get 245/75/16 on those. Last edited by aliencheyenne; 05-17-2004 at 04:37 AM. |

I asume your talking about the New 2500 and 3500 HD wheels?
Yep they will fit. Need to find some lug nuts though. The new trucks use a metric lug with a shoulder that retains the caps. They are available but expect $1-2 a lug x 32. Tire is a hair short. Stock size is a 235 85 16 about 32 inches. It will work but just be aware the speedo is off.
